Epilogue

 

After years of self-doubt and hanging on to something that was not for me, I finally realized something about love; It starts within. Falling in love is not about being with someone or finding the right match. True love is about falling in love with yourself, rising out of Self Hate and going into Self Love.

 

Self love is a journey of walking into all of existence and finding you, no matter what that journey looks like. Once I found myself, I recognized everything else that was mine, I could see everything that was me and a part of me. I had never experienced a love for me like this; there once was a time when I did not even recognize myself. At some points in my journey, I barely even knew who I was, but when I found me, I knew me. I learned that if something is meant for me, I will be able to find myself in it and it will find itself in me.

After I fell in love with myself, I fell in love with all that God had given to me, including my own life. I learned love is not so much about an external person as it is about my internal self. In connecting with myself I connected with everything that is a part of me and my life began that day. I was able to step into the career and works that was just right for me, I could see the person and people who were meant to be a part of my life, and I realized an existence created perfectly for who I am. I received my heart’s desires. I found the love of my life; when I found myself, everything just fell into place.
